Privacy Policy

Henderson Digital (ABN 89 694 501 909, trading as Henderson Digital Pty Ltd) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit https://hendersondigital.com.au or contact me, how I use it, who I share it with, and your rights.

I aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), even though as a small business I may not be strictly bound by every APP.

What I collect

When you interact with the site I may collect:

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional), and the message you send me.
  • Booking information — the details you provide to schedule a call through the third-party booking provider (Cal.com).
  • Anonymous analytics — privacy-friendly page-view and referrer data via Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information.
  • Email correspondence — anything you send me by email, plus my replies.

How I use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for.
  • To schedule and run meetings with you.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To keep records required by Australian tax and business law.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

Who I share it with

I use a small set of third-party processors to run the site and the studio. These providers only receive the data required to perform their service:

  • Cal.com — booking scheduling. Data you enter into the booking widget is processed by Cal.com under their privacy policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (contact form submissions are relayed through Resend to my inbox).
  • Plausible — anonymous website analytics.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and bot protection on forms.
  • Hosting provider — the infrastructure that serves this website.

Some of these providers are located overseas. By submitting a form or using the site, you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside Australia.

How long I keep it

I keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for up to two years after the last time you and I exchanged messages, unless a longer period is required by law or reasonably required to resolve a dispute. You can ask me to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. Email contact@hendersondigital.com.au and I will respond within a reasonable period (generally within 30 days).

Cookies

The site itself does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party services (for example, the Cal.com booking widget) may set their own cookies when loaded. You can block cookies in your browser without breaking core site functionality.

Complaints

If you believe I have mishandled your personal information, please email me first so I can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes will be called out on this page.
